About me
A thought provoking educator, diversity advocate, and speaker, Jennifer Robinson is a Registered Nurse and holds a Master’s in nursing with an emphasis in Public Health. She is a certified Faith Community Nurse and is currently pursuing certification to promote social change and advance health equity. Jennifer has worked in various roles, supporting families working with mothers and babies, Nurse Champion for COVID Home Monitoring Pilot, and promoting diversity through community speaking on the Culture of Disability. Currently, Jennifer is adjunct faculty and affiliate professor of nursing at Platt College of Nursing, where she teaches Nursing Care of Families and Cultures, Childbearing Families, and oversees undergraduate nursing students in community health clinical rotations, and DEI clinical rotations for senior leadership students. Other than inspiring others to promote ability and a voice within the disability community, you can find Jennifer in nature enjoying time with her two boys and their two therapy dogs.
