Willea (‘Lea) Crenshaw is a multifaceted HR leader with a passion for consistent, fair, and equitable practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she developed a keen curiosity for disparities in education and health within urban communities during her early college years. This curiosity has driven her to explore various avenues of knowledge and creativity in this space.
With an MSA in Human Resources, a graduate certificate in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University, plus 15+ years in healthcare human resources, ‘Lea has honed her skills in employee/labor relations, fair and equitable practices and treatment in the workplace as well as the importance of DEI initiatives.
Outside of her professional endeavors, ‘Lea finds joy in traveling, spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
‘Lea is also deeply committed to DEI and community outreach. She believes in living and leading with integrity, compassion, and inclusion, striving to make a positive impact in her family and workplace.
